    7:00 PM.  REGIONAL PREMIERE.  Paramount Productions presents Tracy Lett's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY.  In this eye-opening, darkly comic masterpiece, Letts reveals the secrets of an American family defeated by its mistakes and avalanching toward its final disintegration. When the family patriarch vanishes, the Westons return to rural Oklahoma to care for their afflicted, manipulative mother.  The family gathering turns into an epic exploration of how far apart they’ve grown and how dysfunctional their lives have become.  Directed by Barry Smoot, Paramount Theatre Artistic Director.  Content Warning: Language and Adult situations.  Recommended for audiences 18 and over.  TICKETS ON SALE BEGINNING JULY 17, 2017.

    2:00 PM.  Preliminary open auditions for Paramount Productions' January 2018 produciton of the musical LEGALLY BLONDE, JR.  You will be asked to perform a song of your choice.  An accompanist and a CD playback will be provided. Please note:  you man NOT use a cell phone, tablet, or any other personal digital device for accompaniment.  Also--NO a capella auditions are allowed.  You must sing with accompaniment.  For more information, email the director, Betty Hukill at bhukill@paramout-abilene.org.
