Stage: The Stage is 35' 4" wide x 27' 6" deep, not including the orchestral elevator/lift, which can be raised to provide a stage thrust. In thrust position, the lift extension adds a practical 6'0" to the performance space depth. The stage floor is a glossed, bleached pine in excellent condition, covered by a reversible black Roscofloor (dance floor), in the performance area and both left and right wings.
Lighting: There is an extensive lighting setup available for use, including a computer controlled ETC GIO connsole and strand digital dimming system. For equipment specifcs and lighting inventory, please refer to the in-depth documentation available to your right.
Sound: The theatre is equipped with an extensive sound installation, which includes a Digico SD9 digital mixing console, EAW 730P line array mains (suspended left and right downstage of the proscenium), EAW SB730 Subs, EAW JF50 front fills, a DBX drive rack, and a full DBX 2231 EQ. A Clearcom communication system links the techincal booth to backstage, front of house, and projection booth. The theatre is also equipped with both wired and wireless (lapel only) microphones. PLEASE NOTE: The Paramount has a standard sound package that is included with the rental of the facility. (Please see the Technical Sepcifications document for details). However, the Paramount does not engineer concert sound. If the requirements of the lessee exceeds the standard house sound rental package, the renter will be instructed to contract their sound installation, engineering, and mixing from an outside company. Decisions regarding the use of the theatre's sound system and equipment are made by the theatre's Techincal and Aritstic Directors. The sound contract is negotiated prior to approval and signing of the rental lease agreement, and is binding.
Projection: The theatre is equipped with both 35mm and digial projection equipment. For more information about the usage of this equipment, inlcuding the exhibition of 35mm films, DVD screenings, computer programming, cable TV, and video gaming, please contact the theatre's Artistic Director.
Lobby: The theatre has a multi-level lobby with street-level entrance, second floor mezzanine and concession stand located both in the basement.
