    6:30 PM.  Paramount Film Director Robert Holladay continues his film lecture series with a discussion of the history and making of NORTH BY NORTHWEST. The thirty minute lecture will be followed by a 30 minute break before the feature begins at 7:30 pm.  You must purchase a ticket to NORTH BT NORTHWEST to attend this lecture.  Films series in dividual tickets are $7 for students, and $6 for senior citizens (60+), military and children.  To order tickets online, click here.

    CHILDREN’S PERFORMING ARTS SERIES—“THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: LOST IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM”

    2:00 PM.  The Abilene Cultural Affairs Council presents THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: LOST IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM. When the class gets lost on the way to the planetarium, Ms. Frizzle saves the day by blasting into outer space for an epic interplanetary field trip!  But when rivalries both old and new threaten to tear the students apart, our young heroes must learn to pull together or risk getting forever lost in the solar system. That’s what Jack and Annie learn when the Magic Tree House whisks them back to Elizabethan England.
